What you get
One low price, filed to the DMV.
Our smog check is $39.75 for most cars and light trucks, plus the $8.25 state certificate collected only when your vehicle passes. Diesel testing is $10 extra. When you pass, we file your certificate with the DMV electronically so you can renew online right away.
We test every vehicle — cars, trucks, vans, SUVs, hybrids and diesels — as a test-only STAR station. That means we’re licensed to inspect and certify but not to perform repairs, so there’s never a reason to sell you anything: our only job is an honest test.
No appointment is needed — most inspections are done in about 15 minutes while you wait. Bring your DMV renewal notice if you have it, though we can look up your vehicle without it.
